This site
This policy covers dotgarden.com's Artwork Registry pages (this site). It does not cover the Artwork Registry plugin's own data handling on a customer's WordPress install — see "The product," below.
What we collect
- Information you send us directly — if you email us (including via a "Get started" or "Get in touch" link) or fill out a form, we receive whatever you include: typically your name, email address, and message.
- Basic technical data — standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically by the hosting infrastructure.
- Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which may log requests (including IP address) per Google's own privacy policy.
We do not currently use advertising trackers or sell any data.
How we use it
To respond to inquiries, process a purchase or setup request, and operate this site. We do not use your information for anything beyond what you'd reasonably expect from those interactions.
Payment
Payment is currently handled manually (invoice or bank transfer), not through an automated processor. We don't store card numbers or bank details on this site.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. If you're in the EU/EEA or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively; we'll honor requests made under those frameworks on the same basis.
The product
Once you're using Artwork Registry, the plugin runs onyour own WordPress install — not on Dotgarden's servers. Data your practice collects through it (for example, contact records for collectors and galleries, or Viewing Room visitor analytics) is stored in your own database, under your own control, subject to your own hosting provider's terms. Dotgarden does not have standing access to that data, and is not the data controller for it — you are.
